WHIMSY! The Musical begins with the tale of a child, lost…and then found by the Raspberry Fairies of the great Gimbal Forest. And from that moment, Wild child steps into the real world – and into the adventure of a lifetime. As a young orphan, Wild Child is found in the storm-swept Great Gimbal Forest by the Raspberry Fairies. Raised by fairies in an ideal environment, she emerges as a young adult, an acrobat, light-spinner, and dreamer. The echoes of a distant village circus call to her forgotten roots, and she yearns to explore–to share the light and talent churning within her. Wild Child embarks on a journey of discovery. WHIMSY! The Musical is the inspired creation of local artist, author, and storyteller Susette Gertsch of Midway, Utah.
